Job Description :
Knowledge about the ER (Entity-Relationship) Model (Logical and Physical ER Model).Normalization techniques Good Understanding of DBMS/RDBMS Good Hands on experience on Database Design methods using tools like Erwin, ER Studio, Oracle Designer 2000, Power Designer or any other tool to assists for logical/ physical designing of Database Ability to design DB using above Tools Ability to architect the entire DB based solution. Have thorough knowledge of Standard Databases in the market and able to make decisions on choosing the right one for the given application (its usage) with industry standard data. Must be able to evaluate the ease of integrations into other applications and must be able to design flexible database solutions for scalability,
Basic set theory knowledge to understand any SQL statements Hands on exposure to SQL and any database programming language like PL/SQL programming and controls to implement the required logic Hands on experience in SQL and at least one database programming language like PL/Sallust be able to understand the architecture of different databases on how different user processes are handled. Database API, Database Administration, Database Backup and Recovery, Database Tuning, I/O and O/S Tuning
Knowledge of one Design Tool like ERwin, Oracle Designer 2000, Power Designer or any other tool to assists for logical/ physical designing of Database Good Hands on experience on Design Tool like Erwin, ER Studio, Oracle Designer 2000, Power Designer or any other tool to assists for logical/ physical designing of Database including OOAD tools such as Rational Rose. Usage of tools like Toad for application envelopment
Coding expertise on the Database under consideration (Oracle/ SQL Server/ Sybase/ MS-Access),.Basic understanding of the Windows Operating System, Basic debugging skills
