This requirement will require and Experienced software QA Engineer for product development team. Candidate will lead the QA effort, develop a test plan from scratch, and implement functional, progression and regression tests for the end-to-end testing.
Role and Responsibilities
1. Develop and execute software test plans and validation procedures
Create test suites for functional, progression and regression testing
2. Debug software applications through the use of systematic tests to develop, apply and maintain software quality standards
3. Maintain documentation of test results to assist in debugging and enhancement of software
4. Analyze test results to ensure existing functionality and recommend corrective action
5. Consult with development engineers in resolution of problems
6. Conduct regression tests and evaluate results
7. Confer with developers, analysts, and others to obtain information on project limitations and capabilities, performance requirements and interfaces
Skill Set
1. Experience with software test tools like Quality Center, Test Director, Application Center, QTP
2. Sound knowledge in creation and execution of test scripts (Both Manual and Automated)
3. Good knowledge in .NET development is required .Knowledge on SQL Server databases is an advantage
4. Creative and should have excellent communications, problem-solving skills
5. Must be a team player
6. Must have worked in a collaborative workspace
