Job Description :
Experience in testing of data communication, embedded products
Hands on experience on Cisco/Juniper Routers/Switches
Strong domain knowledge in at least 4 of the below mentioned technologies.
Should have worked L2 ( Ethernet, RSTP, MSTP etc.,) protocols
Should have worked on L3 routing protocols. (BGP, OSPF, RIP , IGRP/EIGRP )
MPLS and related protocols (RSVP-TE, LDP etc.) knowledge is must
Packet forwarding (IP stack) knowledge is desirable
Should have worked on QoS (TOS, Diffserv, Rate Limiting, Policing, Priority Tagging, Remapping)
Knowledge of Firewall, VPNs (IPSec) is a desirable
Exposure to at least one of the Traffic Generators like Ixia, Smart bits, Adtech etc is must
Experience in developing test plans and detailed test procedures functional, system, performance and robustness tests Knowledge of test methodology for testing routers and/or other embedded systems
Test automation using test harness, TCL/Expect/Perl is must
Experience : 3-5years (Senior Test Engineer)
Skills : WLAN Testing
Should have 3-5 yrs of experience (Either Manual or Automation; with Wi-Fi & Networking hands-on-experience)
Experience in testing of WLAN products
Excellent understanding of WLAN Protocols
Should have worked L2 ( Ethernet, RSTP, MSTP etc.,) protocols
Packet forwarding (IP stack) knowledge is desirable
Should have worked on QoS (TOS, Diffserv, Rate Limiting, Policing, Priority Tagging, Remapping)
Knowledge of Firewall, VPNs (IPSec) is a desirable
Does test planning, test case design with white-box orientation, i.e. to improve functional and code coverage (at a feature / component level)
