Location: Chennai, India Development Center
Position : QA Engineer
Job Responsibilities:
The primary responsibility of the QA Engineer is to work with other team members in project management, development, and QA to own the QA track(s) of assigned product(s)
 Gathering test requirements
 Test case creation
 Creating Test summaries
 Total accountability for functional, technical and quality issues
 Ability to read and understand software and/or hardware design specifications.
 Participate in design reviews and make recommendations for product improvements.
 Participate in technical communications within the team and with other groups associated with specified projects.
 A willingness to work on additional tasks and responsibilities that will contribute towards team, department, and company goals.
Key Skills:
 2 to 4 years of relevant hands-on experience
 Strong software testing skills
 Strong technical aptitude, strong logical thinking, intimate knowledge of the software development life cycle, a proven track record in delivering projects
 Excellent problem resolution, judgment and decision making skills
 Good written and oral communication skills
 Working knowledge of Databases and Structured Query Language (SQL)
 Working knowledge of various test tools (performance & automation)
 Setting and verifying milestone release criteria as required
 Demonstrated ability to create a successful application test strategy
 Highly refined software engineering process facilitation skills with areas of business/functional specialization
 Knowledge of any scripting or programming language
